Ordinal Numbers
In a previous post we have seen that in the UFOSAT conlang the main cardinal numbers are:
- 0 = bak (zero)
- 1 = cek (one)
- 2 = dik (two)
- 3 = fok (three)
- 4 = guk (four)
- 5 = jak (five)
- 6 = kek (six)
- 7 = lik (seven)
- 8 = mok (eight)
- 9 = nuk (nine)
- 10 = pak (ten)
- 100 = qek (a hundred)
- 1,000 = rik (a thousand)
- 1,000,000 = sok (one million)
- 1,000,000,000 = tuk (one billion)
To get the corresponding ordinal numbers it is sufficient adding to them the adjective typical ending, i.e. ‘-a’. So we have:
- ceka = first
- dika = second
- foka = third
- guka = fourth
- jaka = fifth
- keka = sixth
- lika = seventh
- moka = eighth
- nuka = ninth
- paka = tenth
… and so on.
