How to say ‘yes’ and ‘no’

In the UFOSAT conlang the term for ‘yes’ is ‘aq‘, while to say ‘no’ you use ‘ux‘.

For instance:

  • Do you want to go home? Yes, I do = El eco vi bri ce doko? Aq
  • Do you want to go home? No, I don’t = El eco vi bri ce doko? Ux

As it is commom in UFOSAT, from ‘aq’ and ‘ux’ you can ‘automatically’ derive many other words:

For example:

  • aqi = to say yes, to consent, to agree
  • aqa = affirmative
  • aqe = in an affirmative / consenting way
  • aqalo = a person that says yes / that consents / that agrees
  • aq(al)id = a male person that says yes / that consents / that agrees
  • aq(al)is = a female person that says yes / that consents / that agrees
  • uxi = to say no, to deny, to refuse, to negate, to disagree
  • uxa = negative, in the negative, disagreeing, etc
  • uxe = in a denying / refusing / negating / negative / disagreeing way
  • uxalo = a person that says no / that denies / disagrees /etc
  • ux(al)id = a male person that says no / that denies / disagrees /etc
  • ux(al)is = a female person that says no / that denies / disagrees /etc
… and so on.
